Young people often need more than a qualification to take their next step. They may need exposure to possible careers, practice with useful skills, guidance from experienced people and a clearer understanding of local opportunities.

Yuva Kaushal is intended to bring these elements together through workshops, vocational and digital-skills sessions, career guidance, entrepreneurship awareness and mentorship. The Foundation can shape activities around the needs of rural and underserved youth, with particular attention to skills that participants can practise and apply.

Programmes should describe their learning outcomes plainly. For example: what participants will learn, who will teach them, what equipment they need and what options they can explore afterward. The campaign can also invite employers, trainers and professionals to contribute relevant expertise.

Give young people room to learn a skill, test an idea and plan their next step.
